Welcome to our first blog! It only seems fitting to start at the beginning and share more about our journey to here. Let me take you back to 2020. In the midst of the pandemic, I found myself immersed in crafting home decor signs for the lovely folks of New England. But then, a few couples asked if I could lend my creative touch to their wedding signage. And just like that, a spark was lit.
You see, weddings hold a special place in my heart. It’s a passion that runs deep, thanks in part to my grandmother, who’s been a florist for as long as I can remember. Some of my fondest memories involve tagging along with her to deliver flowers for weddings. Those experiences planted the seed for my own journey in the wedding industry.
Fast forward to April 2021, and I decided to take the leap and officially launch my business. And let me tell you, it’s been quite the ride. Over the past three years, we’ve had the privilege of creating signage for over 300 local weddings. Each one has been a labor of love, a chance to add a touch of magic to someone’s special day. In that time, my husband Derek has joined me full time and we’ve expanded our services to custom installations, and most recently, wedding invitations and stationery.
Now, as I look ahead, I’m excited to open up about our experiences and share some insights from the trenches. This blog will be our space to geek out over our favorite venues, share the behind-the-scenes stories of our most memorable projects, and offer up some tips and tricks we’ve picked up along the way. Whether you’re a fellow wedding pro, a DIY enthusiast, or just someone who appreciates small business, we welcome you with open arms.
